Cant give a rating less than 1 star unfortunately. Check processwaited 15 minutes because they werent ready for us. Stated they needed to go over rooms first. Then computers were real slow along with the check in process in general. Tv had to be fixed. We brought our dog, which I told them when we checked in, no policies gone over. We left our dog in the room to go get food. Gone 15 minutes. People next door claimed we were gone over an hour and our dog was alone. Supposedly their policy was you cant leave the dog alone in the room. That was never told to us of course. We have to leave our food and go back and get the dog. I feel someone was in our room. Next morning we are loading the car and come back because we forgot something, had not even checked out yet, and they were already in our room starting to clean it. Remember we had NOT turned in our key yet. We were suppose to have until 11 am. We will never return to this location or recommend anyone go to the Winchester location.they wont honor aarp either even though its on their website they accept aarp.

I pre-paid through AARP 3rd party booking. Not informed there was a $100 deposit & a LEASE AGREEMENT!! Upon getting my keys, a resident, who lived in the back voiced not having any water. I asked Carlos, NO running water? He voiced there was water on my side of the building. Went to the room , viewed a mattress on a metal stand, no box spring, burn holes on the comforter, cupboards falling apart, no soap/shampoo & NO RUNNING WATER!! I immediately left, returned the keys, stating that I do not appreciate LIARS & demand that all my money be refunded! I was told I would have to go through the 3rd party for that. Upon calling the 3rd party while in the parking lot, we spent 45 min. trying to get ahold of mgment. When Ex did, Mgment LIED that the water WAS on! & would not release the $ already paid. THEIVES!!! I confronted Carlos with our conversation re: what the res said and my finding, he stood there looking like an F’n IDIOT as the mgr, kept on insisting that the water was on. I replied that IT WAS NOT ON AN HOUR & HALF AGO WHEN I CHECKED IN!! SB! I was charged for another room charge and the $100, that were both refunded. My original purchase was NOT! I will be reposting this review on as many sites as possible until I feel that I have been reimbursed through others knowing about and avoiding this place! The charge for one day at this place is about what the “residents” pay weekly. I asked a resident. The pics listed on AARP were luxurious compared to this place. More lies
Theft At The Red Roof Galvaston
The telivision came on but there is no programing, nothing. Also we paid for the next day in advance and an employee came into the room and stole personal property while we were out eating. The management said there was not anything but trash taken from the room. Both of us were aware of and know what was left in the room.

Red Roof Inn Refused To Cancel A Reservation Made By Mistake
We moved from SD to FL. My wife arrived in Ocala, my son and me headed to Jacksonville as he had a flight at 8am Friday December 31, 2021. My wife booked us a room through Expedia at the Red Roof Inn Thursday December 30th 2021 and paid for it. She text me the info in link form. We get to the red roof inn. I give the girl at the desk our reservation number. It’s not coming up. Turns out my wife made a mistake the reservation was for January 30th 2022 not December 30th 2021. So I ask the girl if she could cancel that reservation and give us a room for the night. She said she couldn’t cancel it because it was so far out it wasn’t in her system. She said my wife would have to contact Expedia and have them cancel it. Ok, so we get up to our room and I call my wife to cancel the reservation for January 30th 2022. So she calls Expedia, Expedia calls the red roof inn to get them to cancel it, Noone answers. She calls Expedia again on Friday December 31st again no one from red roof answers. She calls again Saturday January 1st, Expedia finally gets through and red roof inn refuses to cancel the January 30th 2022 reservation. So looks like I get to pay double for one room. I’ll never book through Expedia or stay at a Red Roof Inn ever again
Red Roof Inn Is The Worst
We stayed in the Red Roof Inn, Ocala Fl 4/2/22 in room 329. Right off the bat, the clerk at the desk acted as though it was a big imposition to check us in and get our room key for us. The room smelled like there was fruit that had gone bad and the air conditioner was very musty. The wall switch/outlet was coming out of the wall, the bathroom fan was so noisy you couldn’t turn it on if someone was sleeping, it would wake them up. The shower clearly had not been cleaned as the previous guest soap was still in the shower. There was a very bright light outside of the room so the light was bleeding in on the top, bottom and sides of the curtain and there was no way to block out the light. In the morning, when we went to get a copy of our bill before leaving, that clerk also had an attitude that they were really too busy for this but they could maybe deign to get our bill. If it would not have been late and we were exhausted, we would have found a different hotel. We learned our lesson with Red Roof inn. In fact, the next day, we went 9 miles out of our way to stay at a Hamilton Inn. They know how to provide service!

This is in regards to the RED ROOF INN 26,300 Dequindre Rd Warren, MichiganThey rented me a room for a week that was a disaster zone. Bathtub filled with dirt toilet running continious no TV NO INTERNET lamps not working food rotting in the fridge and on and on. When we complained they indicated they would issue a one day refund and correct the problems. They did not correct the problems and when another similar room became available, they moved us to that room.Not as many problems No Internet, TV no remote toilet working off and on lights not working etc.Complained and we were told they would fix the problems not so? They did nothing and then theGM and night manager kept avoiding us. They advised they would not refund anything in spite of commitment made. What a disaster the week was!

Worse Night In A Hotel In A Long Time
I’m very sensitive to smells, room had a very strong chemical odor.. At first I admired the floor, before I went to bed I got a warm wash cloth to wipe my feet. I was completely shocked, it was BLACK!!! The floor was filthy!! Down the hall we heard what sounded like a huge dog, later my husband saw a man walking his dog in the hotel hallway. This is supposed to be a decent hotel, not a dog park! Then, breakfast packaged honey buns and bananas, one each, please! Needless to say, we won’t be staying at a red roof inn again!

This is for the Red Roof Inn that is in Dalton, GA. The service people were great. Otherwise, I was shocked trying to turn on a broken lamp. The plug snapped when I tried to plug in my phone. The room was clean on the surface, but I sprayed and cleaned with disinfectant anyway. There was a cockroach in the room. The floors were filthy. After walking around on the floor I took a shower and my feet were very dirty. There was no Covid cleaning on the floor. It was dusty and we found a baby bottle in the corner. There was a smell that indicated no disinfectant had been used, especially on the floor. The TV had static lines on it so it was hard to view. The beds were clean and slept well. The owners of this Red Roof Inn should have an inspection as they are not giving employees the right equipment or time to properly clean. Also it is on them that the electrical plug and lamp shocked me. Not an employee issue, this is an OWNER ISSUE.

I cant believe I even had to give one star I stare at a red roof inn in sottun mass ware me and my wife were verbally asoulted by a man and his friends that told us the had lived there for uppwerds of 2 years the got drunk in the parkinglot started hollering at us and threateningly to kill us and rape my wife I have a small child in the room and it try to call the front desk and was told it would be handled well three calls later and after being lied to about the police being called it have to call them after they come I wanted a refound and a room someware else witch i know can be done and was reffoused the man ends up going to jail and me my wife and there mounth old are set out to find place to stay not only are we tromatized but we are also loosing money from my wife not being able to work becouse of this set back and yet they still feel a simple refound is going to do it i have a reasonable expectation of safty when I stay at a hotel and this place has not met that expectation

Red Roof Plus In Poughkeepsie Has Bad Hospitality
They dont plow the road or driveway or parking spaces. There was an ice bed from unplowed snow that I slipped and fell. Noise coming in from other rooms. Cigarette smoke, weed and crack comes inside your non smoking room. Ridiculous amounts of Garbage lined up in the hallways. There was no hot water I had to take a cold shower. You can hear the foot steps of the person next to you all night. They wont switch your room upon complaint, wont refund you, give you points or a free night. Just go to the hampton inn next door. I definitely do not recommend to anyone ever. Just dont do it because they manager and owner lack compassion and have no real customer service, customer appreciation and do not care to retain any future customers as they even know their establishment is subpar. Apparently there are money issues if you will not provide hospitality in a hospitality setting. Shame on Red Roof Plus for this greedy establishment.

The Red Roof Inn Joliet IL, was the worst place I have ever stayed in. I first checked in the lady that waited on me was very nice, so I went up to my room and the refrigerator didn’t work and there was a big crack in the mirror I went down to complain and the lady was very helpful in giving me another room. So after I got checked in the new room I walked in and turned on the lights and all I seem was roaches, all on the night stand, the bathroom, and the sink, I paid for 3 nights but I grabbed my stuff and and immediately when to down to the some lady that was so helpful in the beginning to complain and she made it seem like I was wrong for complaining about the room I had to stay for the night because there was nowhere else to go that time of the night and was still charged to stay in that nasty room. I was so PISSED that I wouldn’t recommend nobody to every stay there.
