La Quinta Hotel Pet Policy: Most La Quinta hotels welcome two cats or dogs per room and charge pet fees of $20 per night with a maximum of $40 per stay per room. Pet polices vary by location, and some limit the size of the pet, so call the hotel directly before making your La Quinta reservation.

Red Roof Inns Pet Policy. When I came back on Saturday night, I discovered this card on the floor inside my room. It had been slipped under the door while I was gone. Red Roofs Pet Policy. It basically states that pets are always free at almost 400 Red Roof locations for no extra charge. The Pet Policy has these stipulations:

Red Roof Inn Pet Policy Is Red Roof Inn Pet Friendly? All of the 500+ Red Roof Inn locations around the world are dog-friendly! No fees are ever charged for pets. There is a limit of one pet per room with an 80 pound size restriction. However, their site points mentions that these rules may be flexible based on manager approval.
Red Roof offers an economical pet friendly accommodation and pawfect for families on a budget vacation. Typically, many Red Roof locations are close to many attractions for the family to enjoy. Red Roof Inn Pacific Beachs location is less than three miles from the beach, walking distance to Mission Bay Park and a short drive to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and Pacific Beach Boardwalk.

Red Roof Inn Kicked Me Out Because My Dog Is A Pit Bull Is This Normal
TLDR: I got kicked out mid-stay from a Red Roof Inn in Durham, NC because my dog is a pit bull. Be sure to call ahead â some Red Roofs have secret breed bans!
Iâm not trying to start a discussion on pit bulls themselves, I just want to give other travelers a heads-up about my experience.
Iâve been traveling for work the last year, and because Iâm with my pit bull Sox, I stick to pet-friendly places â AirBnbs that allow dogs, and failing that, Red Roof Inns because theyâre the only chain that doesnât charge extra for pets.
A few months ago, the Red Roof in Durham NC kicked me out in the middle of my stay when a staff person saw me walking with my pit bull on the grounds. He came up to me brusquely, and asked if my dog was registered. I said yeah, because, thatâs the check-in procedure there.
Next time I was in the lobby for coffee, I was flanked by front desk staff staring me down judgmentally. They told me they donât allow pit bulls here. I said, no one told me that.
Back up in my room, I got a call from the hotel manager with their lawyer on the line, kicking me out. The manager said, âwe have children and families hereâ and that my dog was a danger to them. No behavior issues, no signs posted, nothing on their website â they just kicked me out.
I complained to Red Roof corporate, which led to this bizarre email exchange with a VP there, who tried to convince me that pit bulls are banned in Durham.

Almost all La Quinta Inns & Suites also cater to our canine and feline buddies. These pet-friendly hotels are slightly nicer than the Motel 6 and Red Roof Inn chains, but also come with a slightly higher price tag. Their pet policy is similar to other cat and dog-friendly hotels as well. Youre allowed up to two animals per room and youll need to sign a Pet Policy Agreement before you and your furry friend settle in.

Bring All Of The Necessary Supplies For The Car Ride
Before you worry about checking into a dog-friendly hotel with your pooch, you have to get there first!
This will usually involve plenty of riding in a car, so make sure you and your pup are ready for the car ride .
- For starters, make sure that Fido will remain comfortable and enjoy appropriately cool car temperatures during the journey especially if youre traveling in the summer . Youll also want to bring a good travel water bottle for your pooch, so he wont get parched if the journey is long.
- Be sure tobring along a few favorite toys during the actual road trip, or prepare some enticing distractions to help make the experience more pleasant for your pet.
- Youll also want to bring your pets bed along, so he can sleep well during your vacay. If packing the bulky dog bed is too much of a hassle, there are several travel-friendly bed& car crate options on the market. Just make sure your pet gets to test out their new digs at home before heading out on the road.
- Your pooch packing list should also include any medications, food, leashes, and other provisions necessary to keep his routine as normal as possible. Its also a good idea to pack extra cleaning supplies since pups are more likely to have accidents when placed in unfamiliar environments.

When I Stay At Red Roof
* I always stay free.
* Most Red Roof hotels let me bring a friend but my pet parent always checks with the hotel first.
* I always check in with the front desk.
* I never stay alone in my room. When it’s time for housekeeping to clean our room, my pet parent takes me out for a walk.
* I always pick up after myself. Well, my pet parent does but I supervise.
* My service animal friends can always stay at any Red Roof location.
* If I could read, I would make sure to read the full pet policy for humans.

Pit Stop And Pets Allowed
As we moved up north, we stopped here overnight for a few hours of rest. This hotel fit the bill and then some – ample parking to accommodate the u-haul with car being towed, pets allowed , free breakfast, and not too far off the highway. We do serve cold cereal, muffins, oatmeal, apples, coffee and juices every morning for a little something to get you started. We are also close to many restaurants in the area if you want a bigger breakfast. I know Chili’s has a Gluten free menu for dinner, I am sure that someone has one for breakfast. Shoney’s has a breakfast bar with many fruit and meat choices, that may be the best choice for food allergy sufferers. Go see The Lights on The Cumberland in the Clarksville downtown area, great place to walk the dog too.

Red Roof Inn Tupelo Details:
Red Roof Inn is a nice option if you are trying to keep to a budget, but are aware of some of the issues that can come up with budget hotels.
There are certain hotel chains we avoid. Unfortunately everyone has a few bad travel stories to share!
We felt like Red Roof Inn Tupelo was clean and secure. I liked the fun pet travel tips displayed.
Boomer looks like hes ready to be done for the day and catch some shut-eye.
I have to say for the price-point, this hotel had a lot of updates including the flat screen TV on the wall and wood flooring. That just gives a clean feel to any hotel room!
Our restroom was clean, roomy and had a full bath, rather than the old-style half bath with a sink outside the door.
One thing we look for with any hotel is a complementary breakfast! If you have followed the blog for a while, you know this is a big travel savings.
In the end, eating out is a huge travel expense. Any time you can get away with making your own meals or eating a free breakfast at the hotel, go for it.
Often its better for us just to spend a few extra dollars on a hotel with breakfast, rather than choose the budget hotel we will be hurrying out of to go spend $20-$30 on a breakfast and tip!

I have been staying at the Red Roof Inn in Freehold, NJ for a couple of months because I have been in-between apartments and I am very happy with my stay. The Manager, Abnil, has been extremely helpful and accommodating in more ways than imaginable. My room was very clean and neat upon arrival, and although we have been here longer than most, they make sure they keep up with our cleaning service and we always have what we need as far as towels,etc. We have had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and I would recommend this location to anyone coming to the Freehold area.
